I wanted to wait a few more days to present the latest picture of the house, but I ran out of patience. I’m very happy with the results so far.

Ta Da!
They still have to lower the porch rails six inches and they aren’t finished with the trim or the underskirt, but I think you can get the picture of how it will eventually look. The dormer (and eventually the underskirt) is Rockwood Jade (Sherwin Williams) The siding is Recycled Glass and the door (and the future shutters) is Crabby Apple. The trim is Cotton White. I’m mildly disappointed that the contrast between the dormer shakes and the body of the house isn’t more pronounced, but maybe when it’s all done, I will see it better.
They’re doing lots of stuff inside the house, but it’s really too boring to take pictures of right now. Electric wiring, plumbing pipes and HVAC hoses are just not as fun as COLOR!

Linda, next time I get an egg delivery I’d love to show you the inside!
Hey Sweetheart!
I’ve been watching your pretty house take shape. It’s going to be so sweet when you’re done coloring! You and Jim (and all those lovely men!) have done a beautiful job designing and building. Can hardly wait to see how inside will look. πππππ
Thank you Karin. The inside is the fun part. You’ll need to wait another month for any of that. It’s just a mess inside now! π
The house looks amazing! I love the green!
Thank you Kathy! Come visit!
