Nice Day For a…PINK WEDDING!

So far we’ve hosted two weddings at the Pink House. Both times the house was booked by a gaggle of bridesmaids who used it to get ready for the ceremony. It’s fun to see these beautiful goofy girls running in and out of the Pink House in their robes and curlers.  The mother of the bride was very generous in sending me some fun pictures of the craziness.

They had a lot of fun on the golf cart.

Let's assume mimosas weren't involved. :)

The previous wedding’s bridesmaids decorated the cottage for the event.

They hung this miniature bridal gown on the front porch.

And decorated the golf cart for the bride and groom “get-a-way” ride from the chapel.

At one point, there were eight vehicles parked behind the house and two parked on the street in front.  The bride and her maids had many young handsome visitors during their stay and I was nervous about the condition they would leave the property in.  (Well, there was all that champagne!) I was happily surprised to find the place neat and clean with nothing broken or soiled.  I’m pretty sure the mother of the bride had something to do with this. 🙂 I asked the neighbor adjacent to the Pink House if the youngsters behaved themselves and weren’t too raucous.  Kerry told me they were very nice quiet ladies and gentlemen.  Sweet!
