Operation: CHANGE STUFF ON INVESTMENT PROPERTY–Phase One

How’s that for a catchy name?

The roses are coming back after their severe crew cut…

And I’m 90% finished digging out pebbles and replacing them with sod in the flagstone path.

I really like how this is turning out. Looks more "cottage-y"

Now for the fun part.  Here is the back of the house.  We plan to have a parking pad poured directly in back of the house at a later time.  For now we have to move the stairs from the back of the porch to the right side to make room for parking.

These wide stairs will be replaced with narrower ones on the right with a landing.

John & Robert started on this today and should have the whole thing finished by Friday.

These guys are hard working and easy on the eyes. I'll try to get a better picture of them tomorrow. :)

They’re also going to build a roof over the little porch.  I’ll take photos on Friday when they’re finished.

Since this is technically a blog about animals, here’s a cute picture of a little guy I see on my kitchen window every morning at 5:30 when I’m making coffee.

Meet Sticky.

Meet Sticky.

When I first began seeing his cute little tummy pressed to my window he was about the size of a dime.  He’s about the size of a quarter now.  Grow Sticky grow! 🙂

  1. That has always been one of my favorites. Good thing for you that you got it before I found out if was for sale! Just kidding. I am glad you got it… it is going to be so adorable!! Wish I was that good at making up my mind about stuff… I labor over every decision about the new house and then wind up turning it over to Linda Blackman! 🙂 The frog is cute, too. LOL

  2. Thanks Betsy. We are having fun with it. Yes, it is an adorable house and we are so happy to get to play with it. Come over anytime around 5:30 to say hi to my little frog! What do you take in your coffee? 🙂
