I’ve been trying to get a photo of this beautiful bird for weeks. He stops in my backyard for snacks, and to rub elbows with the regular birds, cuz that’s the kind of guy he is.
Meet “Robert Redbird”
It’s not a great photo but I can’t get too close because he HATES publicity! I just had time to grab my camera when he stopped to sign an autograph for Miss Brown.
You can barely see her to the upper right of him. She’s swooning.
Then in a moment, he sensed the encroaching paparazzi and…
He was off!
Jim said it’s not correct to call him a “Redbird”. He said he’s a CARDINAL but I kinda doubt it. We mostly have protestants in our ‘hood. 🙂
